BOM Progress

I am just slightly overwhelmed with projects that it is starting to get a little stressful.
This is supposed to be fun, right?   I am going to re-think my list and put a few things
on vacation until I finish up some projects.

This project will NOT be going on vacation.  Joy comes over once a month and we sew on this together.  It is called "Ode to the 30's".  Each month we try to pick two blocks that we can sew up in an afternoon of sewing together.  Here are this months blocks.

Here is another that I will keep up with.  Only two more of these and I can finish this up.  This is the Designer Mystery from Fat Quarter Shop.

This is one that a local shop is doing.  It is called "Women's Voices".   We will have the option to make a big king size or two lap size quilts.

I finished up the 31 S'mores I started a few weeks ago.

Here are this months "Crossroads Blocks".  Another one that I don't want to go on vacation.

Here is another "Sweet and Simple" block I finished.

I started another "Charming Addition" quilt for a gift for my friends father.  I thought it would be the perfect man quilt.  I put on seven rows and figure if I do that every month I will be done by his birthday in September.

Here is my "Charming Addition".  I added three more rows.

See!  These are only some of my projects.  I have way too many going at once.  Something has gotta give.

I hope you all have a great week.   I am off from Tuesday - Sunday for Spring break.   I plan on working around my house and garden and trying to organize and donate items I don't need.   I have been doing this off and on for over a year and I still have way too much.  It's amazing how much a person can accumulate in fifty years.

You do have a lot of projects going. I could see how that would be stressful. But boy do you have some pretty ones going. I see where it would be hard to decide what can wait. Good luck deciding.

Wow, you have so many projects! I thought I was bad! LOL All of them look great, but I can understand why you have to rethink what you're working before you make yourself nuts. It's so easy to do because there are so many great projects to be made. I hope that you get tons done during your break.

You inspire me! I like to work similarly on my quilts. I do great on one and have to go to another just to change things up. I love crossroads and may have to put it on my list of things to do.

It's hard to make decisions about what to put "on vacation" - no wonder you want to keep so many going. They are all lovely.

This may all be stressful to you, but it is making me feel better about my list! : )
Everything you are making is wonderful! How will you choose?
I especially love the Crossroads blocks, too. Where did you get that pattern?
Two Charming Additions? I'm just plugging along making one miniature version. I love the way yours are looking. They inspire me!

I can see why you don't want to put any of these aside, but I do know that feeling of being overwhelmed by it all. Your projects are all so lovely, maybe you could rest one a month?! Happy sewing!

You do have a lot of quilt projects going but you do it in an organized way. Me, I just work on whatever the mood is for that day. You have a bunch of days off coming up. Take some time to sew and enjoy that time.

You know, I don't think that I really believe that you have a full time job! How in the heck do you do it all? I can see why you have so many projects - every one of them is great. Definitely not a dud in the bunch. I can not wait to see what all you get done during Spring break!

Wow! All I did was a mini and empty out some of my fabric. You, on the other hand, sewed up a storm. Shocker:)

I'd say you are doing great getting as much as you do each month. Just think, you have so many projects that you can pick and choose from....just ignore the rest :0)

What a fun mix of projects. I like having variety to work on, too, but can understand needing to trim down the active list. Took me a good year, probably, to find the right balance for me between variety and order. :)

I'm especially lovin' the Charming Addition... so scrappy and fun!
