These are this months "Sylvia's Bridal Sampler" blocks I was scheduled to do. The upper left one was done by hand during the week. Y-seams galore. UGH! These were NOT fun this month. I am so glad they are done.
This is the last "Farmer's Wife" block I had to do this month.
I am still working on the Applique on the center medallion for "Vintage Valentine". There are a bazillion pieces but I think I am down to the last twenty or so.
This is the last "Farmer's Wife" block I had to do this month.
I am still working on the Applique on the center medallion for "Vintage Valentine". There are a bazillion pieces but I think I am down to the last twenty or so. I started cutting the fabrics for "Cracked Pots" today. I started with the 15 light fat quarters. I don't know how I did it but I am so short of fabric. I must have read the directions wrong. I am short 34 - 1 1/2 x 21" strips. HUH??? I went step by step. These weren't the easiest cutting instructions I have ever had. I still don't know what I did wrong but I will have to go back in my CW crate and pull out a few more fat quarters to make up for it. I still have to cut out the red's and the blue's. I do not look forward to it but will be glad when it is over. It's a good thing I have plenty of CW fabrics and more on the way.
Have a great week! I hope all of you have time to sew and plenty of fabric.
