Rainy Day Project

I was able to get some Saturday sewing time in today since it was raining. This is my "Affairs of the Heart" quilt all put together. I opted not to do the applique borders. This was my first hand applique project and you can sure tell the first blocks from the last.

Wow, it's stunning! I just can't find it in me yet to try applique... certainly not by hand! You should be so proud, this is beautiful!

What a beautiful first applique project. I looked at the quilt close up and it looks mighty good. And are you going to start another applique project?

Wow! That is stunning! You sure picked a hard one for your first applique project! I haven't attempted any needle turn applique yet - just machine. Maybe one of these days. I might start with wool - I think that's a lot easier.

Oh, Yvette, it is beautiful!!! You did a wonderful job on this quilt. And what an intrepid spirit you must have to have tackled this as your first hand applique project. Wow! I can't wait to see how you quilt it. :)
