I need honest opinions please

I have been trying out different border fabrics for this quilt and nothing is jumping out at me. Do you think it needs a border? Can I just quilt it and call it a day?

HELP!!!!

Sometimes "less" is "more". Because this quilt is such a masterpiece in itself - you don't need much else.

But, who am I? I'd ask Crispy.

That beautiful piece does not need a border. I think a border fabric will distract from all that gorgeous applique.

I definitely say go without a border. Your applique is beautiful, and a border would take away from it.

I agree, it's absolutely stunning just as it is!

I agree with everyone. It is beautiful just as it is!

I think you can skip the border. But when the time comes, try out some colors for the binding...just to frame or contain the applique.
The quilt is really gorgeous.

I think a border would definitely detract from the blocks. It's perfect just as it is.

I think it is gorgeous as is. But if you are really feeling a need for a border-- my suggestion would be just a narrow one of the same fabric as your background... maybe make the outside applique seem to float a little more?

I really like it as is. The smaller applique pieces around the quilt are already acting as a border. It is stunning.

Beautiful! No border needed.

The appliqued pieces on the edge actually form a "border". It's stunning and needs nothing more. ...Call it a day! :)

The appliqued pieces around the edge form a "border". Call it a day, Yvette. It is a work of art and needs nothing more! Gorgeous.

I think you actually do have a border. I'd make a bias from the background material.

Just quilt it - it's fantastic.

I would leave it and bind it in one of the colors.

Hello Yvette, the feature of your quilt are the appliqued blocks...I think a border would spoilt it....I would just bind the quilt...Warm Regards Lyn

I'm in the no more borders camp, actually it already has a border with the outside flowers. If you want to frame it a little, use a colored fabric for the binding IMHO :o)

If you want it bigger, then I would suggest a very pale green as border fabric so it doesn't fight with all the colours in the applique. If you don't want it bigger, then it is perfect as it is, just bind it. You are very skilled Yvette; this is beautiful work.

Awesome! I don't think it needs a further border at all. Where did you find this pattern? I love it!

The border of flowers at the edges is definitely a perfect border. Kudos on your quilt. It's lovely.
