Weekend sewing

These are this months "Civil War Chronicles blocks. They make me dizzy looking at them. Not sure I like the striped fabric.I finally attached the row I finished up on my "Farmer's Wife". Now I am going to start planning on the next row. (Get ready Joy)
I also finished Block 1 of "Vignette in Stitches". This block was from the first magazine. I am going to try to put together block 2 & 3 next weekend and finish the stitching on them. I still haven't bought the binding fabric for the quilt that Linda quilted for me. I will make that my mission next Saturday.

Have a great week everyone!

Yvette you accomplish so much in a week! Everything looks great! I like the block with the stripes. I don't think I would have been able to make them so straight. Great work.

Yvette, I think you make the most of your time!! Your Vignette quilt is just so darling. It's going to be so fun when it's done. Wow, you've made amazing progress on FW!!! Yep, I agree, the CW fabric can make you see spots!! :-)

I'm impressed that the stripes on the CW blocks all ended up going the same way. Good job!
Farmer's Wife is looking great!
And I have always loved your Vignette in Stitches project even though I didn't realize that it included Churn Dash blocks. Those are a favorite--it just gets better and better!

Great blocks. The farmer's wife progress is fantastic.
Great work on block one, that is a heap of stitching. The bright fabrics look fresh and bright.

How did I miss the FW blocks? Am I loosing my mind? Could be...lol

I like the stripes and when they are all in their place in the quilt it won't look as busy.

Just love the Vignette blocks...it's so pretty!

Oh my goodness, but you get a lot done. You are putting me to shame on both the FW and the CWC! I guess I better get my butt in gear! LOL

I have to agree with you on those CWC blocks - they're making me dizzy looking at them too!!

Holy cow Yvette. You are a machine. I'm still working on my scarecrow? Beautiful blocks and love that Vignette!

I love your orderly, content-LOADED updates! You show that little by little big things get DONE!! I have been printing out Marti Michell instructions every couple of weeks for making Farmer's Wife with her tamplates (it would help me justify that I own them...). I will start that at some point, but I am really enjoying watching yours materialize!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)
