April's Goals

Can you believe it's April already???
I am going to do something different with this month's goals. I am going to list them in order of how I want them done. If I get to them, great. If I don't, no biggie.

Sewing Machine Projects:
1) 10 "Cracked Pot Houses"
2) Make and sew binding on "Calendar Chair Redwork"
3) Make and sew binding on " Nearly Insane-ish"
4) April's "Civil War Chronicles" blocks
5) April's "Civil War Tribute" blocks
6) 5 - "Farmer's Wife" blocks
7) 5- "Sylvia's Bridal Sampler" blocks
8) 1- "Lovebird Lane" block
9) Square up all 13 "Vintage Valentine" blocks
10) Work on "Blue Ridge Beauty" leader and ender project

Hand Stitching Projects:
1) Sew binding on "Calendar Redwork Chairs"
2) Sew binding on "Nearly Insane-ish"
3) "Tis the Season" stitcheries
4) 20-"Klosjes"
5) 1 - "Kitchen Fairy" block
6) 1- "Baltimore Bunny" block

OK, I am tired! LOL!

I finished this "Baltimore Bunny" block at the end of March. I think I have 5 more blocks to go and then all the border treatments.

I finished all 25 "Cracked Pots" houses this morning that Ranette and I had set to do in April. Once you make a few the rest come together really quick. Monica also started this quilt. You can see her version here. She is really moving on it.

I have some prayer request if you all don't mind. My mom is going in for a biopsy on her hip this Wednesday to see what kind of tumor is growing. Could you all say a quick prayer that it isn't the "C" word? I really appreciate it.

I pray you all have a happy and healthy week. {{HUGS}}

I do hope all goes well on Wednesday for your mom. Your list of goals makes me tired too! LOL. Love the houses and the bunny block. Now, get going, we are already 3 days into April!

You bunny block is so sweet. And love the house blocks. Are those a Fig Tree pattern? I made houses from a Fig Tree pattern that were similar. I made it in Fig Tree fabrics and ended up giving the top to a friend.

I just prayed for your Mom and will continue to. Give her a big hug from me.

Oh gee I'd better get a post up on my blog showing my measly 5 houses that I have done. Compared to you and Monica, I'm such a slacker...lol

Cute bunny block and I'm worn out just reading your list!

I will definitely be saying a prayer for your mom that everything comes out perfectly fine!

You have one heck of an impressive "To Do" list, but I have no doubt that you will march right through all of it.

Love your bunny, and am envious of all your houses! Love the colors of them.

Yvette, my prayers for your mom continue. I am praying for the best possible outcome, wisdom for her doctors, and peace in your heart and hers while you wait, and for whatever you face to get her feeling better! I got the Wyoming contingent going yesterday: Daddy requested prayer for her while he was teaching Bible study! :)

Your bunnies continue to make me smile! So cute!

I look forward to someday having the time to stick the Cracked Pots on MY list - they are adorable houses!

Big hugs to you and your sweet mommy too!

Phew! That's a big list. Makes me tired just looking at it! I mean I have a big list too right now-- but there's no way I'm getting it all done in a month! :P

I'll definitely think positive thoughts for your mom. :)

Good idea for the listing of your projects. I have one goal this month and that is to finish the Geese In Flight quilting that I am doing right now. I am not touching another project until this one is finished - I might continue on like that for awhile - get one finished and out of the way and proceed to the next one - maybe that way I can accomplish something.
