I started putting the rows of my Sylvia's Bridal Sampler together now so I don't have the chore when all the blocks are finished. As soon as I get September's row done I will attach it to these.
I was able to get 5 of the 10 blocks done this morning. Row C is looking pretty easy. I took a peek at row D and it will give me a run for the money.
This is the 3rd of 12 redwork baskets I am doing for my mom.
Here are 5 more Life is Beautiful blocks done. I have 5 left to do before and then I can start putting them on blocks.
Here is September's Gardener's Journal.
...................September's Calendar redwork also finished. :)
I hope everyone has a great week! I should be getting back Nearly Insane(ish) #1 back from Margaret this Friday. This quilt is a MONSTER, 118 x 118. I dread binding this baby. Click here if you want to see the magic she worked. I look forward to sending her mine but Murphy moved into my house and wreaked havoc on my wallet so it looks like I will have to wait till the end of the year before I can have a quilting budget.

Wow - awesome progress on your September list. Love all your embroidery projects.
Such lovely stuff Yvette. Your SBS blocks are so pretty. And you NIS No 1 - I had a look at the other blog - WOW!!
Yvette, lovely blocks. I like how you added a touch of applique to your stitcheries. Your wedding blocks look like the ones from the nearly insane quilt. Those are beautiful too. Did DJ come back from vacation? Mine got lost at sea.LOL
I love your SBS quilt, those colors are just wonderful! Soothing, summery... perfect!
I can't wait to see what you do with the "life is beautiful" blocks, I'm really taken with them!

Ummm - you could always call in sick and have one anytime you want !!
See there, problem solved..
Did I help? LOL
The SBS is going to beautiful!
That Bridal Sampler quilt is going to be a stunner! Gorgeous! I also really like your embroidered blocks. Can you tell me where to find the pattern for them?
Thank you, Lynn. I was able to reply to you directly because you have your comments set to no email.
The basket stitcheries are a cheater panel that my cousin sent me from her quilt shop. The calendar blocks are form a LQS that is hosting this block of the month.
The Life is Beautiful stitcheries are from a book. Here is a link to the site. http://lifeisbeautifulbom.wordpress.com/
My goodness Yvette! You are so motivated and on task! I love your blocks. I tried to be like you for this weekend - I made a list - I posted it on the fridge but then something happened - I got distracted. I do not know if it was the cat nap, the having too much fun quilting to do chores or the whilst plastic covering the windows and deciding to paint on a faux stained glass design - but I failed miserably this time round. Sure was fun though!!
Great works you have finished. The bridal quilt sure is looking good as are all your blocks. And look at the school desk. Cute.
I went to see the quilting on the other quilt and it is very pretty.
Sylvia's Bridal Sampler is so pretty. I love the color schemes.
What beautiful redwork. I don't embroidery, so I have great admiration for those who do.
Your SBS is going to be so beautiful! Also, your stitcheries are really nice!
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
Oh Yvette! Seeing the Sylvia blocks together really makes me want to catch up in a hurry! AWESOME!!

Have a safe and productive week!!
I love your choice of color at the SBS blocks! They are so beautiful!
Look at you, whipping through your September list! How lovely your blocks look stitched together.

WOW !!! You are a monster !!! Monster progress !!! Amazing and beautiful....where do you find the time???
That bridal sampler looks remeniscent of an Insane quilt too... I love the colors you are using. BTW, did the Insane quilt arrive yesterday?
Wow, Beautiful projects!! You must have had a marathon weekend.
Look at you go! I took a peek at your quilted NI quilt... WOW! What a treasure.
I can't wait to see how the "Life is Beautiful" blocks start coming together. Is that a variegated thread you're using on those? So pretty!
can you tell me the pattern name/designer for the Redwork Baskets - it's adorable and I know my Mom would appreciate a few of those made up into a wallhanging if I could get the pattern.
Thanks - Karen
