A finish and other stuff.

I finally put my June's "Gardener's Journal" block together. I finished four more "Life is Beautiful" stitcheries. I prepped 10 more of these for my trip to New Mexico tomorrow. I guess I will pack them in my luggage. I would love to work on them on the plane but I am afraid needles and scissors won't be allowed in my purse. :( Good thing my Kindle is all loaded up!
I quilted this Angel panel this past weekend. I needed to get it done since it is a gift for my cousin in New Mexico.
I also made a ton of the red/white 9-patches for the 9-patch a day challenge. I have a total of 72 now, which is 2 more than I need for the project I have in mind.

July's Goals:
1) Quilt Angel quilt - DONE
2) Quilt Polka Dot Girls - Pinned and ready
3) Borders on Bountiful Beauty
4) Borders on Colleen's NI quilt
5) Piece backing for Colleen's NI quilt
5) July's "Gardeners Journal"
6) July's "Calendar Redwork"
7) 4 more "Life is Beautiful" stitcheries
8) Stitch last 3 "Tisket a Tasket" blocks
9) Finish red/white 9-patches - DONE
10) Start paper piecing my NI borders

Hmmmm...... I think my plate is full. LOL!!!!

OOPS.....I also finished another "Tisket a Tasket" wonky handled block. 3 to go!

Yay! A finish! The angel quilt is very beautiful. I'm sure your cousin will treasure it. I like your "to do list" for July! Focused and concise!

Whoo hoo! Pretty, one and all!

I have taken wooden and plastic knitting needles on a plane, two years ago... but not scissors. Got one of those funkly little Clover thread cutters that looks like a necklace. Not sure about embroidery needles, and who wants to find out at the last minute, during boarding screening?

Love your wonky (not) Tisket Taskets - they are turning out Sew Pretty!

Have a great trip!!

Needles are allowed on the plane however scissors are not… but I have a replacement to scissors… nail clippers they work great for cutting on the plane.

I'd say your plate is not only full, but overflowing! Great progress on all of the projects. Being partial to kitties, I really like the new tisket a tasket basket.

Wow, what a list. You're planning for a busy month!

I've never had problems taking needles on a plane. Instead of scissors, one of those dental floss containers works. (Use that little metal tab that cuts the dental floss to cut your thread)

I have taken my Swedish weaving needle on the plane, but not scissors. I had to cut my yarn ahead of time. Love the stitcheries. Your to do list is great...I sort of wing it most of the time. I really am better when I have a list. I should put that on a list...
