Trying to bust some UFO's

I was 2 months behind on my "Angel's Story" blocks so I decided to get at least one of them done. This is Sarah, the sewing Angel. :)
I only had one traditional Jane block to do this week. This is A-13. All caught up again. :)
I also put the first 3 rows of traditional Jane together in order to enter the giveaway Anina is having. :)
I also put the sashing on my "Wildflower Sampler". The next step is a wide navy border and then a tremendous amount of applique to do on those borders. I just don't know if I have it in me to do all that applique. I just can't imagine tracing all those pieces, fusing them and then having to blanket stitch them. :(

Below is a picture of the book. Can you see all that applique on the borders? Maybe I will just do two corners. Suggestions??? How about no applique and some nice quilting on them?

You have been busy....I love that last quilt...and well, it looks nice on its own without the applique but the applique is awesome...I know, some help I am.

Funny...I thought your traditional Jane was Sarah the sewing angel...but now I see it's the top photo that is Sarah...look at that Jane block...she looks like angel too...today, I'm off to get my clover iron and liquid starch...I'm still on Batchelor Buttons.

Yvette your blocks as usuaul are outstanding.

Make the border your own way. It looks beautiful as it is.

I'm with Barb, the applique is awesome and two corners would work or nothing at all but the applique IS awesome LOL. It's your quilt, do what makes you happy. Love your other projects too.

I agree with Betsy, the quilt is beautiful without the applique'. Of course, it will be very pretty with the applique' also.

GORGEOUS ANGEL !!! I love that series, but especially this one! I agree with Lindsey, you're Jane block does look like an angel. Amazing !!! As far as the Wildflower sampler, you need to do what you feel is in your heart, but with "Clark" you could embroider something. Of course if that got screwed up you be unhappy with the whole quilt.....choices, choices, choices ?????

Lots of beautiful progress! It all looks wonderful. I think you should do the applique - it will be worth it in the end.

You are always so busy! Your latest Jane block is beautiful-- I LOVE that green fabric! And the first three rows? Wow!

The Wildflower Sampler is gorgeous! I dunno... I think applique out in the borders would be good to help tie the borders in with and balance all the work in the center (a big plain border might be odd with all that's going on in the center)... I like your idea of opposite corners though. That would be so pretty!

Great stuff you have been working on. Two corners of applique would look good too.

Oh i love the Sewing Angel! She's so pretty!

I gave your dilemma on the Wildflower Sampler some thought.... and decided that really, any of the options discussed would be gorgeous (yes, I'm helpful!) but actually, you are such a speedy quilter, even doing ALL of the applique would not take YOU all that long!!

(ducking under my desk now!)

(((Hugs!))
