Trying to bust some UFO's
I was 2 months behind on my "Angel's Story" blocks so I decided to get at least one of them done. This is Sarah, the sewing Angel. :)
I only had one traditional Jane block to do this week. This is A-13. All caught up again. :)
I also put the first 3 rows of traditional Jane together in order to enter the giveaway Anina is having. :)
I also put the sashing on my "Wildflower Sampler". The next step is a wide navy border and then a tremendous amount of applique to do on those borders. I just don't know if I have it in me to do all that applique. I just can't imagine tracing all those pieces, fusing them and then having to blanket stitch them. :(
Below is a picture of the book. Can you see all that applique on the borders? Maybe I will just do two corners. Suggestions??? How about no applique and some nice quilting on them?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo
I just found out that I did the sashing and corner stones wrong on my Rainbow Jane. I cut them at 2" and should have done 1".
I guess my seam ripper and vacuum have a date this weekend. UGH!!!!!

Slow moving projects.
I was able to put the Rainbow Jane blocks I had made together Friday night after work. Wouldn't you know, I got a new set of ten in the mail the same day.
I worked on May's "Home is Where the Heart Is" block all day today. I would stitch a few colors, walk away and do chores, stitch a few, go to the gym, stitch a few, go cook. I am just happy it is finished. I hope to not have to machine blanket stitch for at least a month.
A new Nearly Insane block posts every Sunday. Last week, I am assuming because of Mother's Day, a new block wasn't posted. I decided to whip out an easy one and get a small step ahead of the game.
Here is C-13 of traditional Jane.
This is C-12
and this is C-7. This means I can put together the first 3 rows of my traditional Jane quilt if I want to. I just can't decide whether or not to do corner stones.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week.
Happy Stitchin! XOXOX

Nearly Insane Block 37
I was really limited on my sewing time this weekend. I went to Joy's house and Karene, Joy and I worked on our "Home is Where The Heart Is" BOM.
The only other block I had time for was my Nearly Insane BOW. This block is 6" with 93 pieces. I am making twin quilts to show how really insane I am. I am bummed that I didn't have time to get my 2 Dear Jane blocks done. I guess it is officially on vacation with Betsy's. LOL!

First Weekend in May
I was able to finish the rest of month 4 of my Rainbow Jane blocks. I am hoping to put them together next week if I have time.
I was also able to whip together my May Calendar BOM and get it hung.
Here is this weeks Nearly Insane BOW. Another easy one. I am waiting to get hammered with a hard one very soon.
I finally finished April's "Home is Where the Heart is" BOM that I am doing with Joy and Karene. We are having a get-together on Friday afternoon to start on May's block.
