Weekend Finishes

Block 12 of "Midnight Garden is now in the finished pile. Now the fun of making the 2" sashing squares start.
The quilting and binding are finally finished on my Saturday Sampler quilt. It is March 1st and I already have a finish. The quilting on it is great! I took it to a local shop with a longarm and paid to have it done. I really love the flannel back I made for this. It is a marble heavy flannel and it looks great. The binding was finished today by my mom. Thanks mom!! XOX

Here is this weeks "Nearly Insane" block. We got to do another corner block and this one was a piece of cake. I fear a hard one is coming soon. I just hope it's not next weekend. (I think I just jinxed myself)
These are this weeks Dear Jane BOW's. H-7 and K-1
I hope you all have a great week! XOXOX

Wow - this midnight garden of yours is going to beautiful when all these scrumptious blocks are put together. The colors just "pop" on your black background.

What a cool Mom helping you out by doing the binding. I think the flannel you chose for the backing is great! Just love it. Did you use a particular low loft batting since you used flannel for a backing?

BTW - my on-going question to you - do YOU sleep or just shut your eyes for "moments"? LOL

Your applique blocks are gorgeous .... lots of hand work in those. That flannel quilt must be heavy, but oh so cozy to snuggle up in!

The blues against the black are amazing.

I love what you've done with the NI block. Yup, there is a tough one coming up but it shouldn't be this weekend. I have to work :( so I don't have time to give you a tough one. :)
