The top block is made the way I meant it to. The bottom one was supposed to be exactly the same until I ran out of the darker red fabric. DOH!!! I found a decent match but then I sewed it wrong. DOH!!! Each 6" block has 120 pieces. INSANE!!
How in the name of cotton do you deal with the accumulated seam bulk?
Maybe its not a problem for you, because those are absolutely beautiful! I'm puzzled about how it works, but also positively in awe! Wow! And you did it TWICE!!
YIKES - my eyes went nearly INSANE just enlarging the photo to take a closer look!! How on earth did your eyes manage these fabrics together? You're a better person than I am....LOL

Doh!!! 120 pieces is indeed insane. And in a 6" block? Whoa. On the bright side, both blocks look gorgeous (if a little different). :)
120 pieces? Unbelievable. The blooks look terrific.
Does this quilt make you understand the word "Insane" better ?
Beautiful blocks !
I can't believe this is 6" I would definitely go insane! You did an awesome job. Your Dear Jane blocks look great too.
I kind of like the fact that they are different looking ! Nice !
OMG!! I love 42 and "ish". Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm too old to have another child so I'm gonna give you Bryan. He's tall, can change lightbulbs without using a ladder . . . . .
Love it! :)
