A Jane Weekend

I spend Saturday and Sunday morning working on my Rainbow Jane blocks. I have 2 left in this batch which I hope I can get done before the next set comes in.

This was last week's Traditional Jane block. I don't like how I can see through the bottom fabric so I may redo that portion and use a pieces of muslin to make it thicker.

I was able to finish this little thing during the week on my lunch hour.

My goodness! A very productive Jane weekend, indeed! Your blocks are looking amazing! I'm in love with Rainbow Jane.

Something to consider for Traditional Jane-- you might just try trimming out the background behind the poof. That's what I do. It reduces bulk and it helps circumvent that show-through issue.

Yvette your blocks look excellent.
My DJ went on vacation and has not returned. I think she met someone.

More beautiful finishes! You are amazingly quick on those blocks! Those little things take me forever! I actually sat down last night and started looking through my DJ, NI and CWD blocks.

Wow those blocks blow me away, talk about patience! Beautiful work,Yvette, can't wait to see the finished quilt. There is something to be said for the solid fabrics.
I recently quilted a vintage Missouri Daisy that had gathered petals, too much handwork for me!
