What I do on my lunch hour & while watching TV

This is block 2 of the Veranda Views BOM. I finished this one on Friday.
Here is my Tisket a Tasket block from Bunny Hill Designs. I finished this last Sunday night while I watched Desperate Housewives.

I made this last Sunday morning at the crack of dawn. I gave it to my mom to sew the binding on. It's a bit wonky but will look cute hanging up next month. The directions said it was better to quilt it while piecing. I think it would have come out much better the other way around.

Here is Gail Pan's BOM. I worked on this Thursday night while I watched Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.

Those are so beautiful !!! I'm in awe of you and everything you do. I wish I had have the time you do to work on projects. I think it's time you start teaching, my friend....ha,ha,ha !!! With so many people looking at your blog, I think online classes would be appropriate...snicker !

TV is great for stitching, isn't it? I do that a lot.

I love the little shamrock wallhanging! I've had the same issue though... the directions say it's better to quilt as you go, and then I always regret doing it that way.

Yvette, you get so much done you put me to shame, girl! And your things are SO wonderful. Do you EAT on your lunch break or immediately pick up a needle and thread? The block 2 of the Veranda Views is just too wonderful.

Lady - you sure got alot done at the "crack of dawn". Now, tell me, what do you do when you're FULLY awake? LOL

Truly, Yvette, you're such an inspiration in doing projects. You NEVER cease to amaze me.

wow, these are all beautiful projects. It's a great idea to sew while tv watching, then you might not snack!!!

Amazing as usual! I think the Shamrock block is adorable!

I can't complain about what you get done at lunch hour.... cos I constantly sneak up the stairs to steal a minute or two in my sewing room, away from my home office!

Now if I could just get the phone calls from clients to go away!

:)
