This is the Vintage Valentine Block 12. I only have the center medallion to do and I can start putting this together.
Here is the "Home Is Where The Heart Is" BOM that I am doing with Karene and Joy. We are trying to use stash only to get these done.
Here are the first two blocks sewn together. I think this will make a cute quilt to put on my bed during the holidays.
Here are a few more Angel Story blocks. This one is called Millicent the Magnificent Mum.
This is Libby The Librarian.
and this is Hettie at the Hat Shop.
I also traced out more stitcheries to do this week. Tomorrow (Sunday), I am going to Cozy Cottage to sew with friends. I have to be sure to keep my blinders on when I am there because they have so so so sooooo many beautiful things. I have been going the last three Sundays and I manage to bring something home every week. OOPS. (Colleen, you didn't see that last comment)

I love them all....you are killing me....now I want to get in my stuff and work....
You are such a busy girl! Well done... they all look fabulous :-)
They are all wonderful but you should be especially proud of yourself for your progress on Vintage Valentine! I love that quilt. Your stitcheries are adorable.
We could try chaining ourselves to our tables tomorrow in class?
Or we could just step up to the plate and do our part to help stimulate the economy?
I vote for the latter. Sadly, I am financially challenged this week....
Sigh....
See you in class!
:)
Wow! What a week Yvette. Everything is so beautiful. Hope you had a wonderful day today and didn't spend too much.
Chica you are busy!
I love all the blocks especially my favorite -the valentine one.
Your work is superb!
OH my word, lady, these are simply wonderful! I don't remember seeing the BOM "Home is Where the Heart is", I love this. Would you be willing to share where it comes from? Just too, too cute.
And, I'm so enjoying seeing the Angel Story blocks. These are FUN to see.
Ah, do you think going to Cozy Cottage is smart? YES!!!! Be sure and share what goodies you come home with. You must live in a great quilting area - lots of fabric and lots of machines. Lucky girl.
BTW - I'm loving this music I'm hearing this morning on your blog. It says it's "Rain King" by Counting Crows. I never heard the song or heard of the artist - but I like it.
See there - I REALLY do BROWSE your blog....LOL
Love all the blocks. You have been busy.
I love the Vintage Valentine and the Home is Where the Heart is blocks. The angels are so whimsical, I love them too!
Stay strong...leave your wallet at home! Hugs.
Your applique is fabulous. All your work is.
The "Home is Where the Heart Is" BOM is looking soooo cute! And your latest Valentine block is beautiful. Really-- everything you do is gorgeous!
Your work is soooo nice! I just love the blocks! You are really quick getting them all finished!

Wow! You are one busy lady.
hmmm. I found looking at and attempting to sort my stash really good for keeping me on track in the quilt shop. Though it didn't stop me from buying another project. ;)
Hi there, I made Vintage Valentine a few years ago. If you want to use the border that is featured on the pattern, Thimblecreek in Concord, CA has the fabric in packs just enough for the borders. They have a website www.thimblecree.com. It is home decorator fabric but I found it very easy to work with and match up on the mitered corners. You know you've appliqued by the time you have finished this little number. Very nice.
Thanks Heidi. I ordered the fabric but it isn't in yet. If they don't get it I will be sure to call Thimble Creek.
GASP, CHOKE, WHEEZE !!!! I just can't get the words out !!! I love them...FANTASTIC !
These are fantastic! I love the Home is Where Your Heart Is! Where can I get that pattern? I love applique!
I found you through Cindy and I am very glad that I did! Great inspiration and beautiful work!!!
I'm lovin' your music again today. Just stopped by to say hello and to view "Home is where the Heart is"
The music is as good as the photos.
Thanks for your comment and your girls are fabulous... I just love them and everyone's I've seen are so different & fun.
Happy stitching!
I love those Home is Where the Heart Is houses. I'm going to track that pattern down, for sure. Love your crafts!
