Sewing Withdrawals

I missed the last three Sundays of posting because I have nothing much to show.  I am in the midst of home projects that require all of my spare time.   I hope I remember how to sew when I finally get back to it.   I should be done by the end of the month so I will resume full force in July.

I did take the day off on Memorial Day and sewed blocks of "Ode the the 30's".

That's it for three weeks.  Sad, huh?  :(

I hope you all have a wonderful June.   I can't wait till it's over and all the projects are done so I can get back into doing what I love.

maybe you can squeeze a little sewing time in between the projects. You know a reward for being so good..

Four blocks are good if you've been doing something else. You'll be happy with all the other things are done and then you can get back to your sewing!!

bummer that other things have taken you away from your projects. Your 30's blocks look gorgeous.
Hang in there... maybe sneak some stitching here and there..

Sometimes that's how it happens Yvette. Your blocks are always beautiful and a delight to see

I haven't sewn in about 3 weeks either. Have been really enjoying the wonderful spring/summer weather. After cold winters, the nice warm days feel wonderful. Your blocks are lovely.

Four blocks is much better than nothing! Hope you are making progress on your other projects. I miss seeing your Sunday posts, so hurry up and get the boring stuff done so you can sew!

Nice to 'see' you. I haven't done much sewing for awhile now - it's all good!

When you have the opportunity to get back to your machine you'll enjoy it lots and lots. :-)

I've had months when the only time my machine has been touched were for my once-a-month sewing days with my Mom. I feel your pain! : )
Hey, four blocks is nothing to sneeze at--they look great!

They are beautiful, Yvette. We will have a sewing day eventually! Sewing has been scarce around here also, what with helping the kids pack, and some crazyness with my work, etc.

But we shall prevail! Sewing will recommence!! :)

It happens to all of us - great to see you've managed some sewing and they're such happy colours.

Bummer when work interferes with our quilting

I think you are accomplishing a lot! After your last post of two finishes... you deserve a little "lul"! I love your block of the month... and your bow ties are so amazing! A-Maz-ing!

Every time I see something made with 30's reproduction fabrics, I am sorry I gave all mine away. I was not using them and they were taking up space. I do not have a 30's look quilt in my collection. I made lots of baby quilt tops with that style fabric for a charity project though.
