Cheddar Bow Ties

I hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day today.

I spent my morning building Ikea Bookcases and organizing fabric.  I have come to the conclusion that I already knew the answer too.  I have too much stuff.  My 401K Fabric fund is 100% funded.  I do not need a pin or a thread.  Am I the only one?  Please tell me I am now alone.

After I finished the building and organizing I prepped 15 more baskets.  I have 270 of 300.  YAY!

After that I worked on my Cheddar Bow Ties.  I finished all the blocks I needed.  This is 80 nine patches of Bow Ties for a total of 720 3" blocks.   Next weekend I will iron and square them up to start putting the quilt together.

That's all I had time for this weekend.  I hope you all have a great week!
Yvette

And no...you're not alone...I don't need pins, thread, fabric, scissors...NOTHING! But that probably won't stop me...LOL!

That is a lot of baskets to make. And a lot of three inch bow tie blocks. Are you tired of making them?

I am pretty much stocked too but could easily find something I need. Like a certain color of floss for a project, thread, basting spray. Something!

That`s all! that is incredible! you are so impressive! You are not the only one. I went looking through my tools and I don`t know how many applique pins I have, maybe I thought they weren`t going to make them anymore.
Your cheddar quilt just looks awesome

LOL I too can be added to the list of "having way too much stuff" but I too will not stop adding to that stuff. It is a sickness I say.

LOL! I hear you on the fabric front. I too have an overflowing stash. I'm trying to work through it, but I doubt I'll make it in this lifetime. :P

Happy bowties! It sounds like your baskets will keep you busy for a bit-- that is going to be a fun quilt! :)
