Two weeks of progress

I totally lost track of time and remembered that I didn't update my blog last Sunday.

These are June's "Farmer's Wife" blocks.
With these 5 blocks I was able to finish another row. I really like adding the sashing and rows as I go.
Last week I tackled putting on the first border to "Cracked Pots". I love when a pattern fits perfectly, there were no adjustments to make. This was a first!
Then I added the houses I made last month along with some corner stones.
This morning I decided to go ahead and make the last border and in between various chores and errands, I attached it.

TA DA!!!! All finished!!!!
The past two weeks I have also been working on more klosjes. 215 done. 12998465 to go. LOL!

My mom is doing great with her radiation treatments, she is finally out of pain and her spirits are much better. She has 6 more treatments to go and after those she should be even better. Thanks again for all the notes of support.

I hope you all have a fantastic, healthy week with plenty of time to play.

You've been a very busy seamstress! How big are you're finished quilts? I hope you don't get tired of hearing it but there aren't a lot of adjectives to say they're "beautiful". Really truly beautiful. You have a very good eye for color, Yvette and your skills are noticibly improving with each and every stitch.

Great news about your Mom. Be sure to take care of the caregiver, too. Love ya!

I've been dying to see what you've been working. So worth the wait. Love, love the Farmer's Wife and that you're able to put it together as you go, and I can't believe how fast you got Cracked Pots together. I just love it. Wish I could have joined you on that but maybe on another one somewhere down the line. It came out wonderful.

So, so glad to hear that your mom is doing better.

Prayers continue for your mom and for you, for strength and patience and good health, etc!! I'm so glad her pain is relieved now - that is huge! Hugs!
