Time flies.................

Happy New Year!!

What's a New Year without a new project? I wouldn't know. LOL I started this BOM with a group of friends last week. This is Block #1 of Lovebird Lane. I hope we can all get together soon for Block 2, this was a lot of fun.
In the last few weeks I managed to finish 3 more "Berry Picking Party" blocks. I am now working on the last one! I hope to start the piecing soon.

This is my "Sylvia's Bridal Sampler" as of December 31st. I made 5 additional blocks since then. Joy and I decided to do 5 blocks a month instead of 10 so that we could start "Farmer's Wife" soon. :)
Here are all the blocks.........

I listed all of the projects I am going to work on in 2011. My goal is to finish 10 of those before I add anything else to the list. Of course I added many things to the list so that I won't be bored. LOL!

Again, I hope everyone has a Happy Healthy New Year with plenty of time to stitch.

Doesn't starting something new signify a new start for a new year?? :)

It looks like you're going to have a fun year. What colours are you going to do for Farmer's Wife?

I *finally* got the Life is Beautiful pattern, so that's my new start for the new year. :)

The berry picking blocks are so great. I can't wait to start on mine. What color fabric are you using for the background? It is hard to tell from the photos.
All your blue and yellow blocks are fabulous.
Happy New Year to you.

The Bridal Party Sampler is just GORGEOUS!!! What a great idea!

I also love the "Berry Picking" BOM! Could you please send me an email to let me know where to get this pattern??? I'm looking to do a little embroidery work. Its an easy thing to pick up and put down with an 8 month old around the floor!
