The last of the Bountiful Blessings and other stuff

I finished the last of the clay pots today. Now they will probably go back into the UFO closet for a bit so I can start working on my Nearly Insane borders. Ranette suggested that I start making them now since they can be tedious. The borders for the Bountiful Blessings are also paper-pieced so maybe I will make several of each and finish them at the same time. HELP!

Three more Insane blocks done, seventeen to go.
Don't tell the quilt police but I did start new projects. I don't really count these since they are stitcheries. I can work on these at night when I unwind from the day. The first one is the BOM that Red Brolly started last month. It is called Catalicious. Since I love kitties and don't have any real ones, I thought it would be nice to have kitty quilts.
The next BOM is from a local quilt shop called The Quilt Cupboard. It is a calendar redwork quilt that I fell in love with. I decided to make my January block read 2011 instead of 2010. I know this won't be ready before then so I may as well be on time for a change. I should have probably put 2012 on it. LOL!
I hope you all have a great week! Happy quilting!!!!

Well shoot, now I have to wait to see your clay pot quilt completed, but I guess you do have a "few" other things that need to be finished LOL. You are correct, stitcheries don't count so no police will be at your door :0)

Thank you!

CJ..... You may be waiting a while. The sashing and borders may take longer to make than the pots.

Nice new do, Yvette. And oh my word, your pots are too wonderful. I'd never seen anything like these before you started sharing them, way cool. Not everyone has as nice as jugs as these. LOL

And those stitcheries - yeah - WOW. When you're back on "a roll" you keep it going, girlfirend.

Have a great Monday!!

Wow! You've been seriously working on those pots... I can't believe they're all done now. Awesome! They are going to be stunning all together.

Good for you starting a new project! No guilt! I've been eyeing those kitty stitcheries... but I'm afraid that's all I'll manage to do. But it's nice to know I can ogle yours as the year goes on. :)
