A-10 Which Way Points West?

This block was not easy. It isn't pretty either, don't look too close. No way will I do this one again.

Stars Around The Garden BOM

All the blocks are done and at last the Medallion is finished. It took several weeks of nightly and lunch hour stitching. Now I have to sash everything and make the checkerboard border.

Nearly Insane.... Block 70

This bad boy had 53 pieces. Did I mention I am making 2 blocks each? Yes, I am nearly insane. The other quit will be for my friend Colleen. I need to have her put next weeks block fabrics together. This one looks a little busy.

Eco-Totes

I ran into the Tall Mouse Friday to see if they had any red/white fabric for my Nearly insane. I did manage to find 2 fat quarters. I had no idea how hard it was to find red/white fabrics.

I also walked out of the store with fabric to make shipping totes. The pattern was free and it looked so easy, which it was. I liked it sew much, I made 2. LOL! The brown one is for me and the pig one is for a friend that collects anything with pigs on it.

I think everyone needs a shopping tote. I may keep making them until everyone I know has a tote of their own.

What I do some weekends

Here are a few pictures I took from my phone as I was waiting in line at the port last weekend. The first one is a picture of the back of the ship we are unloading.

The second pic is what it looks like under the crane. The crane unloads the container on the back of the chassis or bomb cart. I then drive the container to the yard and either park the load and get another flat bed or drive it to another crane that takes it off and loads it somewhere on land.

Here is a picture of another terminal across the channel. Actually, I worked at that terminal last night. :)

Saturday Sampler Block #8

I went to Leah's today and picked up my Saturday Sampler Block #8. This was the easiest of the entire series. Next month is the last month of the series. I will then work on sashing it, putting borders on it and quilting it.
