Nearly Insane!!!
That is the name of the quilt that I am going to start next weekend. A new group is being formed here .
I am going back and forth on what color scheme I am going to use. I am leaning toward red/white like this or this . Another option that I am thinking of is using blues/yellows with white. I guess you will just have to wait until next weekend to see what I chose.

D-6 Challenge & D-11 Snow Crystal
Joy was wondering what my Dear Jane virtual design wall looked like so I thought I would post the most recent view. YIKES! There are still so many blocks to make.
D-11 - Snow Crystal = I made this Friday night after work.
D-11 - Challenge. I had already made this before I joined Anina's group. I was so happy she chose one that I had already done. I was suffering from a major time shortage this weekend.

Sunday = FUN DAY
My friend Karene came over today for some sewing fun. The only thing missing was the third amigo, Joy. I could kick myself for not taking pictures.
I was able to finish my "Crazy Curves" top today that I am making for a cousin in New Mexico. I even pieced a border and made my binding strips. Now I have to find a day that I can go to the quilt shop and borrow a table to pin baste it.
Yesterday I visited the "Bunney Hutch" to pick up a backing for the Crazy Curve quilt. While I was there I picked up these flannel fat quarters. I plan on doing a "Lucky Stars" quilt with them. This picture doesn't do them justice.
Karene and I also finished our Saturday Sampler blocks for September. Two more blocks to go and we can work on building our quilts. We have eached picked different sashing, borders and backing. It should be fun to see what we come up with.

That's it for my quilting marathon. I will probably work 6 days this week and the only sewing that will be accomplished will be my Dear Jane blocks. I sure hope Anina picks easy ones this week.
