Rainbow Jane Month #7 & More Wool.

My goal for the weekend was to get all my Rainbow Jane blocks for the month finished. Luckily, this was the easiest set yet. I was also able to get 2 more wool blocks done in the evenings.

A finish and more wool

I am calling this done. The pattern calls for all four sides to have applique but I just don't have it in me. I think if it was needle turn it would be no problem. This was done by machine blanket stitch. What a pain it was turning this quilt constantly. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Now I need to shop for a backing and figure out how I am going to quilt it.
The next few blocks are the wool ones that I am working on. After looking at these pictures, it is clear that I need to undo a few pieces and re-sew them on straight.

More Wool Blocks

I actually spent a lot of time in my sewing closet this weekend. The only thing I have to show are these wool blocks that I have been working on in the evenings after work.

I was able to get a quilt pinned this weekend and a ton of applique prepped. It was nice not having a Dear Jane or Insane block to work on this weekend.
